Plasterer Apprentice - Tool List

The following tools are required to begin your apprenticeship:

1x - Scoop (Plastic or Metal)    
1x - Rasper or Sandboard    
1x - Razor Knife or Filet Knife    
1x - Outside Corner Tools (Variety Pack)(1”, 1 ½”, 2”, 4”)    
1x - Inside Corner Tools (1”, 1 ½”, 2”, 4”)    
1x - Margin Trowel (6”x1 ½” or 6”x2”)    
1x - Pointer Trowel (4 ½”)    
1x - Plastic Float    
1x - Rubbing Brick    
1x - Light Duty Hammer or Hatchet    
1x - 25’ Tape Measure (1” wide)    
1x - Small Speed Square    
1x - Small Cross-cut Hand Saw (Total length 17”-22”)    
1x - Chalk Line and Chalk    
1x - 24” Level or Torpedo Level    
1x - Tacker Hammer    
2x - Markers (Black only)    
1x - Nylon Brushes (Assorted sizes – 1½”, 2”, 3”, 4”)    
2sets - Whites (1 set = 1 shirt & 1 pair of pants)    
1pair - Canvas Gloves    
1pair - Work Boots    
1x - Pump Action Spray Bottle    
1x - Hardhat

Your livelihood depends upon your tools you use.  Purchase the highest quality tools you can afford.  Don’t skimp because you will be replacing those items more quickly than if you had purchased higher quality tools.
